Applications and Admission

Tours and information sessions for the 2009-2010 school year will begin in October 2008 and run through December 2008. Please call 682-1200 to sign up for a tour. We will not have any more tours for the 2008-2009 school year.

The Central Park School for Children is a free charter public school that admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin. We welcome special needs children who will benefit from our educational philosophy.

For 2008/2009, if there are more applications than spaces, the available spaces will be awarded by public lottery. All applications in by 31 January will be included in the lottery. The Central Park School for Children will maintain a waiting list for available spaces based on the lottery results. Siblings of already enrolled students will receive priority placement.

Applications are available only at the school after touring our school and attending an information session. Tours for the 2009-2010 school year will run from October through December 2008. Please call 682-1200 to schedule a tour.
